What does the VHV warranty cover?

Our 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in your jewelry. We want to ensure that your piece is free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of purchase.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear, accidental damage, improper care, loss, or theft.

How long is the warranty?

All VHV jewelry comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

In addition, we offer lifetime services to help maintain your jewelry after the warranty period.

What is included with the lifetime services?

We offer free lifetime cleaning for your VHV jewelry.

Occasional professional cleaning helps remove buildup from everyday wear and allows us to inspect your piece for potential issues such as loose stones or worn prongs.

Is my first resizing free?

Yes. Your first resizing is complimentary, subject to the design being suitable for resizing.

Some designs, intricate bands, eternity rings, or pieces with specific construction may have limitations. Our team will assess the piece and advise you before any work is completed.

What is not covered by the warranty?

Our warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Loss of the jewelry itself

• Theft

• Loss of gemstones

• Accidental damage

• Damage caused by improper care or use

• Damage caused by chemicals or harsh substances

• Damage resulting from failure to obtain recommended repairs or maintenance

• Scratches, dents, or other cosmetic damage caused by everyday wear

• Normal wear to precious metals or prongs

What are some common issues that are not considered manufacturing defects?

The following are generally considered normal wear or accidental damage rather than manufacturing defects:

Metal discoloration: Exposure to chemicals, makeup, perfumes, chlorine, pools, hot tubs, bathing products, and other substances can affect the appearance of precious metals.

Normal metal wear: Precious metals naturally develop scratches and signs of wear over time and may require periodic polishing or restoration.

Prong wear: Prongs can naturally wear down or become damaged through everyday use. Worn or damaged prongs should be repaired promptly to help protect your gemstones.

Gemstone loss: Gemstone loss caused by wear, impact, accidental damage, or failure to maintain the setting is not covered under the warranty.

What happens if my prongs become loose?

Prongs are subject to normal wear, especially on rings that are worn regularly.

If you notice a loose, bent, or damaged prong, stop wearing the jewelry and contact us as soon as possible. Continuing to wear a piece with damaged prongs can increase the risk of gemstone loss.

Our team can inspect the jewelry and recommend the appropriate repair or restoration.

What if I lose a diamond or gemstone?

Loss of a gemstone is not covered under our warranty.

Gemstone loss can occur from normal wear, accidental impact, damaged or worn prongs, or other circumstances unrelated to a manufacturing defect.

If a stone is lost, contact us and our team can discuss replacement and repair options.

Is accidental damage covered?

No. Accidental damage is not covered under our standard 1-year warranty.

This includes damage caused by impact, dropping the jewelry, bending, crushing, snagging, or other accidents.

Depending on the damage, our team can assess the piece and provide repair or restoration options.

Can I wear my jewelry in the shower, pool, or hot tub?

We recommend removing your jewelry before bathing, swimming, using a hot tub, or coming into contact with chemicals.

Chlorine, cleaning products, lotions, soaps, cosmetics, and other chemicals can affect metals and gemstones and may contribute to discoloration or damage over time.

How should I care for my jewelry?

To keep your jewelry looking its best:

• Remove jewelry before swimming or using a hot tub.

• Remove jewelry before bathing or showering.

• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, makeup, and chemicals.

• Remove rings before activities that could cause impact or snagging.

• Store each piece separately to minimize scratching.

• Have your jewelry professionally cleaned and inspected regularly.

• Contact us if you notice a loose stone, damaged prong, or other issue.

Does the warranty cover repairs after the 1-year period?

The 1-year warranty applies to qualifying manufacturing defects during the warranty period.

However, our lifetime services continue beyond the warranty period. Contact our team to discuss available maintenance or repair services for your piece.

What happens if I don't repair a damaged piece?

If our team recommends a repair or maintenance service and the jewelry continues to be worn without the necessary repair, any subsequent damage or gemstone loss may not be covered under the warranty.

For your protection, we recommend stopping wear immediately if you notice a loose stone, damaged prong, bent band, or other structural issue.

How do I make a warranty claim?

If you believe your jewelry has a manufacturing defect, please contact our team. We will inspect the piece and determine whether the issue qualifies under our warranty.

If the issue is not covered under the warranty, we will explain the recommended repair and any applicable costs before proceeding.
